In my search, study and practice of healing, intuitive arts and spiritual development since 1987, I had the opportunity to look at many different healing-modalities; which enriched my understanding and helped me develop greater compassion for myself, others and the human suffering in general.
What resonated with me the most, and created a deepening of feeling into my own heart and soul, is the art of chanting and sound healing.
As we all know, in native cultures and ancient mystical practices around the world, sound held an integral part in invoking, praising and connecting with spirit.
When a pure intention is projected with devotional love for the divine, the sound creates a bridge between our minds and our hearts (known as the Divine Union) connecting us with the unified field of all there is.
It is often, that repressed emotion will be accessed and released in the sound of a “Medicine Drum” and other musical instruments when tuned to a harmonising frequency.
Whilst, the vibrancy of any of the above is an undeniable medium to alter the electromagnetic field helping us to be present; it has been said by the wise ones before us, that the greatest instrument is ones’ voice when expressed from the heart of the individual.
As I have been drawn to ritual and devotional singing, I feel honoured to have met and studied with spiritual leaders of the shamanic as well as Vedic approach to self-realisation.
The chants shared from both sides, have touched my heart and given me the inspiration to release my own unique expression of invocations and devotional songs in melodies that simply occurred in a spontaneous manner.
I avoid using the word channeling….as we all channel all the time; however, when the heart is centred and open what comes through, is from the higher self and the higher vibration available to us at the current moment; when trusting to allow it to come through, one can experience a sense of deep peace, a vastness of love and a feeling of at-onement.
From this space of receptivity, healing can occur as old stagnating energy can move, allowing new and loving frequencies to replace it; inevitably, by changing our frequency we begin to attract positive synchronicities and guidance that opens us to be more responsive and accepting to our highest good.
This is increasing our vibration in order to match the higher frequencies available on our planet
It is with an open heart and a wish for interconnectedness and healing, I invite you to join me for an evening of prayer and devotional songs/chants to enter sacred space and guided meditation.
